26 March 2025

Funding is now available for sporting clubs with recovery and clean-up efforts.

The Sport & Recreation Disaster Recovery Program is open for applications. This program supports not-for-profit sport and recreation organisations with funding to re-establish their facilities and activities after extreme natural events, including floods, fire, cyclones and severe storms.

Funding of up to $5,000 is available for eligible sport and active recreation organisations located in disaster declared areas.

Organisations in the Moreton Bay region have until 10 June 2025 to submit applications and must register an account through the Grant Registration Portal to apply for funding.
