World leading program for parents coming to Deception Bay
Chris Whiting MP has teamed up with the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) to bring Professor Matt Sanders to Deception Bay for a special free forum on ‘positive parenting’ on 25 June.
The Triple P program was founded by Professor Sanders and has helped build the parenting skills for parents of more than 4 million children around the world.
“It is an honour to welcome Professor Sanders – and his four decades of experience – to the Deception Bay community to work with parents,” said Chris Whiting.
“Professor Sanders is an internationally respected Professor of Clinical Psychology, as well as the founder of the Triple P,” said Chris Whiting.
The Triple P’s Power of Positive Parenting forum can help parents:
• Raise happy, confident kids
• Guide kids’ behaviour
• Set rules and routines that everyone follow
• Get on well with your kids and argue less
• Balance work and family with less stress
“As a parent I really wanted to bring such a respected program to our community,” said Chris Whiting.
“The advice Professor Sanders provides has helped me enormously as a parent and I know it will be invaluable to parents across our community,” Mr Whiting said.
The Power of Positive Parenting forum is suitable for parents of children 0-12 years.
