Chris Whiting MP is giving his support to a new campaign by the Palaszczuk Government and Queensland Dairyfarmers to promote Queensland’s dairy farmers.

“Over the next twelve months our government will celebrate Queensland’s dairy farmers for their top shelf produce they make,” said Chris Whiting.

“The campaign will include in-store promotions, TV, radio and social media advertising.

“Most of Queensland’s dairy farmers are also small business owners and we know that many of them are currently doing it tough,” Chris Whiting said.

The Palaszczuk Government has partnered with the industry to highlight the exceptional quality of our wonderful dairy products.

“There are plenty of labels to look out for on shelves locally, including Maleny Dairies, Scenic Rim 4Real Milk and Norco to name just a few.

“From ice-cream, milk, butter and cream, to cheese and yoghurt – look for Queensland produce and support our local dairy farmers.

“We need to raise a glass to our local dairy farmers and I encourage all Queenslanders to pay a fair price and support the local dairy industry,” said Chris Whiting.

Chris Whiting said that the dairy sector is an important part of Queensland, and our growing economy and we need to support the states roughly 385 dairy farms.
