Chris Whiting MP is calling on locals to plan a Queensland holiday next school holidays by using Queensland Holiday Dollar vouchers.

The Palaszczuk Government has launched another round of the Holiday Dollars campaign with a further 48,000 extra Holiday Dollars vouchers for the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Cairns.

“We’re giving Queenslanders the opportunity to explore their incredible backyard with a series of ‘Holiday Dollars’ travel vouchers to spend on tourism experiences,” said Chris Whiting MP.

“Holiday Dollars vouchers are a big hit with tourism operators. They drive visitors right to their businesses which in turn supports local communities.

“Already more than $7 million of bookings have been made in areas where the schemes been rolled out for holidaymakers.

“If your family wants to get your Holiday Dollars, register your interest in being part of the ballot draw.

“The Holiday Dollars vouchers will provide a 50 per cent discount on accommodation or tourism experiences up to a total $100.00 (inc. GST), and will be valid for bookings from now until 21 July, for travel until 17 September,” said Chris Whiting MP.
