Local residents visiting the Caboolture Hospital will be able to use the new multi-storey carpark from mid-2023, said Chris Whiting MP.
The new six-level car park will include over 1,000 parking spaces and increase the on-site parking spaces number to over 1,500.
“Making it easier to get to and from the expanded Caboolture Hospital has always been a priority for the Palaszczuk Government,” said Chris Whiting MP.
“We’ve invested over $46 million to construct a multi-level carpark that meets the needs of local residents using the hospital.
“For patients and visitors, fees will range from $3 to $7 for visits between one to three hours and $13 will be the maximum fee for a 24-hour period.
“Parking concessions will be available for eligible patients and carers.
“That is in stark contrast to the exorbitant fees that were imposed when the previous LNP government either sold off or leased out entire hospital carparks.
“Queensland Health will own and operate our carparks to make sure locals can get the best value parking at their local hospital,” said Chris Whiting.
