Funding boost for local SES capability

Moreton Bay Regional Council will receive $52,375.66 to support local SES activities.
The Queensland Government will distribute the payments to the City of Moreton Bay this financial year to assist local SES Groups with training expenses, operation al resources, and equipment maintenance.
Across the state, the Miles Government is providing $3.4 million across every local government area this financial year.
A further $1.92 million will be allocated to the SES Support Grant program to support new or replacement vehicles and upgraded facilities.
In October 2022, the Government announced a significant uplift for SES, increasing the annual operational budget to $60 million.
