Request a flag of Queensland

Request a flag of Queensland Main Image

Your organisation or community group may be entitled to a free Queensland flag if you meet the conditions issued by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

​Examples of organisations that are eligible include:

  • ​Schools and Tertiary Institutions
  • Youth Organisations such as Scouts

  • Service Associations

  • Welfare Organisations

  • Ethnic Organisations

  • Sporting Clubs

  • Historical Societies and Museums

  • Show Societies

  • Local Fire Brigades

In addition to these groups, Queensland teachers and students who have been accepted into an overseas educational institution are eligible to receive a flag for presentation to that institution.

Applications may be made by emailing or writing to the Bancroft Electorate Office. It can take up to six weeks for the flag to become available. If you need more information regarding eligibility please contact the Bancroft Electorate Office. ​

Requests for Australian flags should be directed to your local federal member of Parliament.
