Some community concerns that do not fall under the responsibility of the State Government include local government services like rates, local roads and footpaths, and rubbish collection. Issues relating to taxation, immigration, aged care, Centrelink, Medicare, and NDIS are the responsibility of the Commonwealth Government.

How can I request assistance?
You can ask for help in a number of ways:
- By phone - call 3448 2100 and speak to an electorate officer about your issue.
- Online - fill out the contact form on our website.
- By email - send an email to: [email protected] with your name, address and a brief description of the matter. An electorate officer will get in touch with you as soon as possible to assist.
Why do I need to provide my address?
We ask for your current address so we can confirm that you live in the Bancroft electorate. As the state member for Bancroft, Chris has been mandated by Queensland Parliament to assist people who reside within the boundaries of Bancroft.
We may also need your personal information to prove your identity to government departments when advocating on your behalf. We will always treat your information with confidentiality and only use it for the purpose of resolving your issue.
Can I request assistance on behalf of a friend or relative?
While we appreciate that you may be concerned about someone you know, we cannot advocate on behalf of them without their direct authorisation, for privacy reasons. Speak to someone in the office about the best way to do this.
What happens next?
As long as you have provided all the relevant information, we will action your request and let you know what has been done or, if we've directed it to a government department, when you can expect to receive a response.
If you don't hear back within that timeframe, we ask that you contact our office again so we can follow up for you.
